Marketing Manchester is the organisation charged with promoting Greater Manchester to a global audience as a place to visit, invest, meet and study. Our role is to promote Greater Manchester as a leading leisure and business tourism destination and work with the tourism industry to sustain and develop business. We are a partnership organisation with over 200 partners including hotels, serviced apartments, conference venues, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions and tourism support services.

There are partnership packages available to suit all budgets, with flexible payment terms when required. In tandem partnership events, venue location, accommodation booking services, access to industry intelligence and training form part of the overall benefits.

Last year our Press and PR team hosted 133 media visits, briefed 177 journalists and communicated monthly with 1,400 contacts; resulting in 252 travel articles about Greater Manchester, with an estimated reach 463 million.

Our year round programme of campaigns engaged with domestic and international visitors each year, who bring £9 billion into our local economy.

The Manchester Convention Bureau brough 30 international conferences to the region with an economy impact of £30 million.

And our websites pushed messaging out to more than 3.7 million users. Our social channels had more than 455,000 followers with content reaching more than 20.6 million people.
