Elizabeth Faulkner

Elizabeth has been the director of business development at Marketing Manchester since August 2009.

The role, which is on a consultant basis, is responsible for engaging public and private sector partners when Manchester promotes itself on an international stage.

As such, Elizabeth is responsible for the delivery of over 50 corporate and wider-city events each year.

She also oversees the company's commercial relationships team - which recruits partner organisations to the commercial projects and campaigns on which Marketing Manchester takes the lead.

Prior to this appointment, Elizabeth was head of events and marketing services within the company - a position she held since 2002.

Before joining Marketing Manchester, Elizabeth has worked for both The Bridgewater Hall and The Royal Exchange Theatre.

A graduate of Dundee University, Elizabeth was born in Knutsford and now lives in Hale with her husband and daughter.
