For Christmas 2012, Manchester City Council, Manchester Arndale and Marketing Manchester have joined forces to deliver an over arching marketing campaign that promotes all that is happening in Manchester including the switch on, the markets, Spinningfields Ice Rink and of course our retail, food and drink offering. The objective of the campaign is to drive footfall into the city centre and across Greater Manchester for shopping, entertainment and events.
Through a number of Christmas characters including elves, reindeer, polar bears, a fairy and of course Santa, the consumer messaging will encourage visitors to 'Be Enchanted by Manchester this Christmas'.
The creative assets for this campaign are available for all organisations across Manchester to use within their own marketing of their Christmas offering. Retailers, restaurants, bars, cafes and museums can all use the characters, typeface and consumer messages either on or off line. We also have some ready made posters available for printing.
In the same way that lots of Manchester businesses embraced 'I love Manchester' we'd like everyone to be 'Enchanted by Manchester this Christmas'. We ask that when using any of these creative assets you comply with the brand guidelines.
