Marketing Manchester and Visit Manchester Response To Transport Innovation Fund Announcement

For one week each year Manchester Square in London becomes the venue for a series of events promoting Manchester in the heart of London. Exhibitors present the city’s first class conference facilities to specially invited guests, ensuring the capital's events specialists enjoy the best Manchester has to offer.
The focal event of the week, 'Event Manchester' is targeted at conference and travel trade contacts based in London and the South East. Over three quarters of the business for Manchester is generated through this audience and it is essential that they are updated and have the opportunity to meet contacts from hotels, attractions and conference venues in the City.
Marketing Manchester works in partnership with Manchester City Council, MIDAS and the Northwest Regional Development Agency in delivering a series of events that showcase both Greater Manchester and England's Northwest.
